Waltari is known as the crazy metal rockers from Finland, playing the ultimate crossover music. In a musical adventure that began in the early 90's and has taken stage across Europe, Waltari has found a place in the hearts of music lovers everywhere. Mixing different aspects of rock music and traditional music, Waltari has crafted totally new combinations.
With a pioneering and open-minded approach, the band has evolved into a melting pot of musical genres assimilating everything that is current. Waltari has been a support act for Kiss, Faith No More, Rammstein, Aerosmith, ZZ Top etc. Waltari performed in the biggest European metal festival Wacken Open Air in Germany, with 80.000 participants in 2015 Waltari has also toured in the US and Japan. Waltari filmed a music video in LA, starring also Ron Jeremy (exceptionally with his clothes on)

Waltari composed and performed the musical work for “Evangelicum” It was performed with the Finnish National Ballet and the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Sibelius High School at the Finnish National Opera. Choreography by Jorma Uotinen. The guest vocalist was Tarja Turunen of Nightwish. This show was released in 1999 on DVD.
